Overall, our stay was pleasant. Positive: Great location and we love the dog Cassie. Negative: This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast. Hotels allow guests to check in earlier, but in a B&B, the check in time is strictly enforced.

Beautifully maintained historical house. Positive: Breakfast was good. Bed was comfy. Bathroom nicely decorated, Location on edge of main part of town made walking easy. The house has some lovely history and architecture. Negative: Our room was heavily decorated with all things 'royal family and Princess Diana' which meant we had to be super careful not to knock anything - all the surfaces had pottery and pictures on it. Couldn't quite relax, would have preferred more space in the room to be honest There are no TVs in the guest living room or bedroom so good to know this ahead of time - we stayed in late December so no entertainment in town either!. Also we were told if we wanted hot water for tea in the evening we had to message the host to bring it out - there was no kettle in the communal dining room for us to use ourselves. We didn't want to bother anyone so we didn't end up making the tea.

Great stay - highly recommended Positive: Glenn and Elizabeth are great hosts, very personable and made us feel right at home. Very clean home, very quiet, well maintained. Comfortable beds, very nice breakfast service, coffee and tea available 24x7.
